This summer is the 40^th anniversary of the infamous San Francisco Summer of Love: the launching point of a youth uprising that unleashed a tidal wave of drugs, immorality, eastern mysticism, and the rejection of authority that has altered the very fabric of Western culture to this day. Right in the midst of all this, God began to move and bring awesome revival than has become known as the Jesus Movement. This revival has impacted the believing community around the world in a deep and lasting way. Most of us are either a direct product of the Jesus Movement, or have been significantly affected by it in one way or another. This summer thousands of believers from around the nation are coming to San Francisco to mark this anniversary with a season of prayer and outreach called the Real Summer of Love.

THREE WEEKS OF PRAYER and OUTREACH July 27 - August 18

The word is getting out and we are receiving interest from around the nation from different ministries and church groups who want to come to San Francisco during this time. Lou Engle will kick off the Summer of Love with a conference on the DNA of Revival Prayer, July 27-28. The following weekend we will be hosting outreach celebrations at Union Square and Embarcadero Plaza. Then beginning August 5^th we will be joined by a group called The Red Riders, led by Chuck Mervin who will be rallying hundreds of young people at THE CALL NASHVILLE and forming a caravan of prayer and outreach that will travel across the nation and arrive in San Francisco the first week of August. Those coming in from around the nation will be joined by hundreds of local believers for daily prayer and outreach. Our goal is to see a new Jesus Movement begin that will sweep the nations.

JESUS MOVEMENT NOW Summit August 8 - 10

A reunion is being planned of key leaders from The Jesus Movement gathering with young emerging leaders for a time of prayer, evaluation and preparation for "The Coming Jesus Movement”. This will be in the form of leaders sharing, followed by breakout sessions. It is widely believed we are on the verge of a major worldwide harvest that could reach as many as a billion souls. The lessons learned from the past combined with the generations honoring and partnering with one another could make the difference in not repeating some of the mistakes of the previous move of God.

SUMMER OF LOVE CONVERGENCE - AUGUST 11 in Sharon Meadows, Golden Gate Park

The key gathering of the 3 weeks of prayer & outreach will be held in Golden Gate Park. Arthur Blessit will lead a procession carrying the cross from the foot of the Panhandle @ Baker St. to Sharon Meadows and Hippie Hill. An all day permit has been secured for the field, which can hold up to 10,000 people. The first part of the day will be spent in prayer and worship with nationally recognized leaders, fanning out later in the day to do special outreaches. SUMMER OF LOVE EVENTS - July 19 - August 18, 2007

July 19	Summer of Love Internship Begins 20 young leaders from around the world will be joining us for an intensive prayer and outreach internship under the leadership of Erica Greve and Jesse Engle. These interns are coming 10 days before the official beginning of RSOL to be trained as the leadership team for the Real Summer of Love.
July 21	Prophetic Evangelism Training with Erica Greve Join our interns for a pre-RSOL training in power evangelism. Erica received hertraining in the Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry in Redding and served as a assistant with Patricia King. She is currently pioneering Campus Awakening Ministry at Cal Berkeley.
July 27 – 28	The DNA of Revival Prayer with Lou Engle Lou Engle will be coming fresh from THE CALL NASHVILLE with over 100,000 young people crying out for revival in our land. Lou is one of the premier speakers on intercession and revival and will be launching RSOL by imparting his spiritual DNA to hungry hearts. Conference sessions will be Friday night, Saturday morning and evening. On Saturday afternoon we will gather in Delores Park for a public celebration of Jesus.
August 4	Union Square Celebration and Justin Herman Plaza Outreach Join the RSOL Team and Youth and College Groups from around the region for a day of equipping and outreach. We will enjoy anointed worship, relevant teaching and ministry to the hurting and broken.
August 8-10	Jesus Movement Now Conference – passing the torch of leaders In the final words of the Old Testament, God promises to turn the hearts of the Fathers to the Sons and visa versa. This JMN Conference is a forum for intergenerational reconciliation and partnership. We will be gathering older key leaders from the Jesus Movement with younger emerging leaders for a series of short teachings and panel discussions on such topics as the future of ministry, missions, evangelism, and church life.
August 11	Summer of Love Convergence In partnership with the Red Riders, we will be gathering thousands of passionate Jesus people in Sharon Meadows in Golden Gate Park. We will have seven worship bands from around the nation with key leaders who will be speaking. We will have space for artists to draw, paint and display their work. We will spend the day worshipping, praying and proclaiming the Love of God. Join the Summer of Love Procession @10am at the base of the Panhandle or join us at Sharon Meadows from 12-5 in the afternoon.
August 11-18	SOS San Francisco 28 years of sharing the good news in the city Summer of Love continues with a final week of outreach led by Larry Rosenbaum and the SOS leadership team. SOS will be joined by Lindell Cooley and Chuck Girard and will be sharing the Gospel around the city through Saturday August 18.
Aug. 31- Sept. 2	Cindy Jacobs in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley with Brian Johnson Cindy is a well respected prophetic voice in our generation. She will cap off our Summer of Love Celebration with a series of city-wide meetings hosted by Voice of Pentecost Church at 1970 Ocean Ave on Friday night and Saturday. Then Cindy will speak at Shiloh Christian Fellowship in Oakland on Sunday Morning. On Sunday Evening there will be a Campus Awakening Rally on Cal Berkeley Campus. Cindy Jacobs will be joined by Brian Johnson the key worship leader from Bethel Church in Redding.

We are in contact with churches all around Northern California to join with us in celebrating the Real Summer of Love, praying together for the launch of a new Jesus Movement that will sweep the globe and bring forth what could become the greatest harvest of souls in history.
