SCRIPTURE
Revelation 22:17
“The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the thirsty one come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.”
DEVOTIONAL
The fast may end, but the invitation does not.
From the very beginning, this journey has been about thirst. About recognizing our dryness, crying out in desperation, drinking deeply from Jesus, and living in overflow. And now, on the final day, Scripture reminds us of this truth: the water of life is still freely given.
There is no cost. No striving. No earning.
Only surrender.
Jesus continues to call the thirsty. The Spirit continues to invite. And the Bride, the Church, joins in the invitation, saying Come.
As we step beyond these 21 days, may we remain people who drink deeply and invite freely. May our lives point others to the fountain that never runs dry.
PRAYER
by Matt | Pastor of Refuge Bible Church + Pray The Bay Director
“Father God, today we come with open hands and yielded hearts.
We surrender every place of control, every fear, and every distraction that has kept us from fully receiving all that You desire to give.
Jesus, You promised Living Water that satisfies the deepest thirst of our souls. Fill us afresh.
Let rivers of Your Spirit flow within us — without limit and abundantly.
Remove every barrier that restricts the flow.
Make us ready vessels for all You want to pour out.
And as we drink deeply, make us people who invite others freely — the weary, the dry, and the searching — to come and drink as well.
Let our lives point to the fountain found only in You.
We receive. We yield. We trust You completely.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
REFLECTION + INVITATION
As this fast ends, ask yourself:
Will I continue to drink from the Living Water?
Who around me is still thirsty?
How can my life become an open invitation?
The Spirit says, Come.
The Bride says, Come.
And the invitation remains open.
