SCRIPTURE

Psalm 73:25–26

“Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

 DEVOTIONAL

At the end of thirst, we discover what truly satisfies.

After days of drinking deeply from the Living Water, God invites us to name what has always been true: He is our portion. Not what He gives. Not what He fixes. Not what He does, but who He is.

Psalm 73 reminds us that even when our strength fails, God remains. He is steady, faithful, and sufficient. The Living Water does more than quench thirst, it reorders our desires, teaching us to run to God alone.

As we approach the final day of this fast, today is about anchoring our hearts in this truth: God is enough.

PRAYER

by Abby | Worship Leader + Pray The Bay Creative Director

“Whom have I in heaven but You?”

Papa, as we come to the final days of this fast,

we ask that You would be our full satisfaction.

We acknowledge You as our portion and our strength.

You, our Living Water, are who we run to

to quench every thirst.

Thank You that it is You — and You alone —

where we find our strength and our portion.

Be that for the Bay Area.

Let Your will be done.

In Jesus’ name, amen.”

REFLECTION + INVITATION

Reflect today:

  • What competes for my desire?

  • Where do I turn when I feel weak or empty?

  • Can I say, honestly, “God is my portion”?

Let your thirst end in Him.
